Trevon Duval

  • Solid length and frame for a point guard
  • Good athleticism who can finish at the rim
  • Relies on penetration to get his points
  • Solid passer who is capable of making a play for a teammate
  • He's a good on the ball defender
  • He does a nice job taking the ball away from his opponent

  • Weaknesses
  • He must improve his perimeter shot to succeed at the next level
  • Not a good free throw shooter to have the ball in his hands down the stretch
  • Will miss some easy plays

  • Bottom Line
  • I need to see more of him. He has led a talented Duke team where he doesn't have to do it all. Similar to what he will do in the NBA. His ability to start or be a career backup will be based on the development of his jump shot.
